My first venture into trucks Empty My first venture into trucks

Post by baZOOKa Fri 10 Aug 2012, 2:54 pm

Just got this kit. Had plans for it which required the loss of the sleeper cab. I didnt realise the sleeper was part of the cab and I really cant be fudgebarred chopping and cutting.

So this one is going to be built box stock for practice.

Now to go looking for another cheeep kit that has the sleeper missing or seperate.

I have to say I like the big-ness of this kit ....cant wait to get stuck into it but have to discipline myself and finish a couple of others first ....

Virtually a Snap Tight kit, I'm halfway through one here at the moment. Goes together really well. Looking forward to seeing what you do with yours. Wink

Well finally got this kit out of mothballs. Wont be a quick build. Just a ...something to do while waiting for glue / paint to dry type thing. Im enjoying this kit as some of you have mentioned ...it goes together so nicely. Still undecided on body colors but hey ...no rush.

Good to see you back at this one, they take a bit of commitment considering how big they are, not to mention extra bench space. Have a couple to do myself, but can't get motivated as i know NOTHING about trucks.
Nice neat start too mate.
