Japanese shaggin" wagon.
Finally, got the motivation to finish this for the Gas build off.
It started out as the Aoshima Toyota Estima (Torago) 7 seater with sliding side door. Started by closing off the sliding door and opening up the tail-gate, you cant have a panel van with-out an opening tail-gate, IMO, filled in the side windows and did them in a wood grain effect. Removed all the rear seats, fabricated an archway, and proceeded to deck out the rear to go with the van theme. Lined it all with maroon felt and added some speakers and a flip down plasma screen.
Paint is spray-chief "moon dust" metallic acrylic, with fingernail pin stripe tape . Wheels are approx 18" chromes with caps and low profile tyres, made some roof rack type surfboard holders to carry the matching surfboards.
Screen up/down
Set for the surf!!
Hope some one likes jap sh!t.

Re: Japanese shaggin" wagon.
jap shit, aussie shit, american shit it's all the same to me. As long as it has at least 1 wheel and an engine.
This is great. It turned out really well. Nice one.
And Rob, I love those jap vans with all the added crap...

Nice work on this - a felt lined van interior brings back some nice memories for an old fella like myself.
