Straight 8 Rod
Here my newest project: A 1932 Ford Sedan with a Straight 8 engine
I chopped the body a few millimeters cut out the doors. The roof will be cut open later. The chassis is a modified Zed frame from The Modelfactory, a german company. Better know for there truck bodies. The engine is a Buick Straight 8 from Replicas Miniatures of Maryland. Wheels/Rims are from The Modelhaus. The bomber seats are from Ken Hamiltons Wildhare Models

Re: Straight 8 Rod
Very cool. Those straight eights packed some punch so make sure the driver can strap in tight.

Those Straight 8 are avalable from Replicas Minatures of Maryland (the bset one) and from Kitchen Ken as a Pontiac or Buick. The last is not that good as the RMoM one.

Re: Straight 8 Rod
Here some pictures of the track nose that I use. I modified the track nose from a '29 Ford Rat Rod. The Woodlite lamps are from a guy in the US.
I also add some details to the door

Re: Straight 8 Rod
It had taken a while to continue with my Straight 8 Rod. I had used salt and hairspray for the rusty look. I'm not happy with the result. I had forgotten to protect the base coat with clear coat before I had applied hair spray. So the next step will be clear coat and salt again.
The radiator is scratch build from plastic sheet. The fan is from Model Car Garage, while the mesh is from Kit Form Services.

Re: Straight 8 Rod
Here some pictures of the finished body.
I had detailed the heavy weld lines with bare metal foil and remove the paint with a rounded wood
To get some minor comfort for the passengers I at some foam to the bomber seats
