FORD XA FALCON GT - Goss / Bartlett - BATHURST (1973)

This car got pole position but did not finish as a result of a crash that he got the butt end of. The radiator hose came loose and a tyre was stuffed.. Goss tried to battle on after hitting the pits for a new tyre... but its a Ford and found its way to a hault.

A true racer with a big heart - shame it didn't finish. Oh well at least Moffat's XA Falcon won the race. Biante have done a nice job of this one.

Nice car Andy, but Biante should have done the blue Falcon that Goss/Bartlett won the `74 race with, or have they.

You're right Andy - Biante made a 1:18 scale limited edition (3000) model of it in 2006. It's a collector's item now. Biante item number is A87412.
