BALLARAT NNL 2013

Hi Guys, the date has been confirmed for our NNL. - 26th May 2013.
I know its a bit early, but hopefully it gives you all some time to dust down that bench, and get buildin'.
Anyhoo...all the details are below.

Entries taken from 9.30am - 11am
Entry fee $2 per model (per entrant) up to 5 models.  Rest free!

· Car pre 1950
· Car 1950-1964
· Car 1965 and later
· Car competition (all types)
· Truck – Bobtail
· Truck – Rigid
· Truck – Open Goods
· Truck – Enclosed Goods
· Motorbikes (all types)
· Junior Model (up to 16 years)
· Other Model
· Military (all scales, all types)
· Aircraft (all scales, all types)
· Ladies Model
· Modified Diecast – (all types and scales)
· Diorama (includes vignettes) NB: A Diorama is a representation of a small scene, and will not be classified as a model on a plain base or mirror.

Plain bases, mirrors & turntables will NOT be permitted in all classes owing to space restrictions.  The committee reserves its right to exercise its discretion.

SWAPMEET
The Swap Meet will be open to modelers as well as traders, so bring your old kits ‘n’ bits.  We can supply tables or you could bring your own (not too large!) Swap meet will be as follows:

Site & small table $15
Site & large table $20

We suggest you book and pre-pay before May 17th to secure your place.

I would just like to clarify the theme.

The theme states '1963' - it should read '63'.

This can mean anything from 1963 or 63 or 6 & 3 or…

Sorry for the mix up.

You had me worried there for a moment with the theme as what i'm building is definitely NOT 1963...

It's OK Fred, 6+3 =9, 6-3=3, 3-6= -3, 6 / 3=2, 3 / 6=0.5, 6X3=18, and the square root of =7.9, so there's plenty of options for you to cover.

Carps what the hell are you doing? ...Zen is out of control without you giving him further ideas....what monster have I created?
Soon we will require lab coats, black rimmed glasses, pencil behind the ear, and fake some sort of intelligence to understand this 'theme'?

Just remember that as I am psychotropically uncapable of doing the obvious thing the person to blame for what I come up with is the person who chose such a seemingly straightforward theme as 63.

Sounds like a plan, make sure you paint it something exciting like drab green so it stands out from the other 2 dozen drab green military models there..............
