Mustang Cobra R 1:18

These are a couple of models I picked up last year from an outer Brisbane die cast shop. First one is the Cobra R prototype "00" race version by Autoart painted in the correct orange colour, second model is the Maisto Cobra R street version in red. Ford gave out the rights for the die cast model production to Autoart for the racecar and Maisto for their streetcar version. The Autoart lives up to the usual standards, the Maisto has a lot of "artistic licence" in areas due to being a cheaper model. Was real lucky to find the Autoart on the shelves of the shop seeing as it was made early 2000's and I think worldwide production was around 3000??. Got ém both for under $200, Yank stuff's a lot cheaper than the OZ stuff. Still feel Ford should have given Autoart the rights to the street version as it looks better in the red!!!
