'53 Corvette (AMT)

Finally got around to completing this one chaps
Nothing special, crap kit, but you deal with it, Tamiya Racing white with a few goodies from my spares box

I see it's been re-released, same tooling I bet

Some of the dramas I had ;
Windscreen, be prepared for serious trimming,
Rear Axle, sits too far back,
Inner front guards, poor fit, bring out the clamps to make it sit right to the inside of the body!
Front and rear skirts, lots of trimming again,
Stance, well you just modify to suit your taste
Oh did I mention all the flash

I have that kit, you did a great job on it. Your engine detail is spot on. The triple carbs look sharp, a lot of detail for a fiddly kit.
