Altered Drag Car
This is a mates altered drag car. He is in Mackay at the local strip up there. Haven't heard what his times were as its been off the track for a while and this is obviously his first time back. Runs a stroked 308 Holden engine. When we used to work together I helped him build the chassis for it in lunch hours, spare time and after work. When I get a chance to talk to him I can get a better rundown on how it went.
Color is Candy red and pearl white. It was built quite a while ago as we havent worked together for near on 10 years. After he moved to Mackay it broke a crank so a new engine was built. He has had a limited amount of runs in it due to breakages, rain, work but its good to see it going again.

Re: Altered Drag Car
Did you build the chassis straight Dave? The front wheels don't sit flat on the deck in the 4th pic...
It looks like a whole heap of fun.

You think thats twisted!!
You should have seen the car that this one replaced. On launch it would pick the left hand wheel up about 12 inches.
