Cheers guys,
Nah Mopar, I reckon I'll fill in the roof, only because it is very unstable plastic and the windows aren't the best.
And yes, the engine will be higher don't you worry about that. I'm using the pontiac 421 Packet engine in this lil' beast

Re: The Luv Monster
Missed this update, that's looking better Adam
As for the scoop, I've always liked the classic Hilborn scoop, but this thing has enough weight to justify one of those big ugly bug catchers Then again, a pro street scoop wouldn't look out of place.

Re: The Luv Monster
Hilborn wouldn't look too bad, and the idea of a pro street scoop was my original intentions. But dad reckons it'll take away from the car itself. (What does he know? Only got 30 years on me )
So I think it will get decided at the end, but ideas are taken into consideration

Re: The Luv Monster
Adam...2 things...I haven't been following this thread, but keep finding myself drawn back to it to see what you are coming up with so I guess I should just commit. You are doing some interesting stuff here. As to the scoop and your Dad's advice, just remember that people get cautious when they get older. Ask him what he would have done at your age. Keep building.

Re: The Luv Monster
ooooo thats nice ...please tho ...do a few burnouts for us and get the gloss off those back tyres!
How about a gold color on the front fading back to some flames down the side and leave it silver. Few small stickers on the doors so it looks like a dragger and hey presto. Thats my thoughts.
Nice work Adam !

Re: The Luv Monster
I'm liking the idea of Slammers Purple. I think I may run with something like that.

Re: The Luv Monster
looks great adam really digging what you done so far how about a heavy pearl white to go over the silver base
Re: The Luv Monster
The paint is down!!
Went along with DSF idea of purple, and I think it has come out alright, as you can see, I left the middle indent silver just to make it have that little bit more attention.
I cut out a chevy logo in tape and stuck it on the tray, and chromed around the outside too.
Finally found a scoop to put on it too!
