Hey everyone here's my next build. Having seen the builds that have been shown on this forum I feel I have to lift my game so I'm planning a few mods to the car to make it as good as the cars I'm seeing on this site wish me luck

Righto wheels arrived today just waiting on more parts to arrive here's a pic of what I'm kind of going for. I'm going to paint the body red with a Matt black bonnet

It'll look good red. But that plastic is a really nice shade of blue as it is.

AMT are re-popping the stock '66 Nova with a Grumpy Jenkins Super Stock decal sheet.

Red with black bonnet sounds ace! And those wheels will make it pop too!!!

Agree with Zen, you'll need a good primer so that hideous shade of blue doesn't come through

Righto have finished painting the body and also the wheels. I've started on the engine and replaced the high rise manifold and carbs with slightly larger items as I reckon it looks more aggressive

Now that looks TUFF mate, sweet colour,has it got a pearl in it,? or is it just the light, and those wheels will look great i reckon.

Thanks for the comments the colour is mica red it has a little bit of metallic in it

Hey everyone have finally got the engine on the engine mounts and have installed a nitrous system onto the engine have got the tanks but am still unsure of the best way to install them. I've decided to black out all the chrome on the car as I reckon it'll look better.

I'm planning some body mods too........like chucking the body and replacing.
