McLaren M23 Empty McLaren M23

Post by truges Mon 03 Jun 2013, 5:26 pm

Since the birth of our first child earlier this year and me deciding to start my own business, I haven't had a great deal of time for modelling - although I do look longingly at everyone's builds here. Anyway, I finished this one about 6 months ago. It's the Tamiya re-issue pretty much straight from the box. I used the Tamiya PE detail set as well as some aftermarket decals from China I bought off ebay - the brand escapes me at the moment. These old Tamiya F1 kits are quite good fun for a quick build out of the box.

Ah, the good old days when F1 drivers were real men who liked drinking, smoking and entertaining the ladies.

Nice build

It looks great truges. Those old Tamiya F1's are always great to build. It doesn't matter if they are OOB or super detailed to buggery they make good eye candy and yours is superb. greatwork
