Fordenstein
Here's the latest bitsa on my bench and came about from the left over cab after building "Plan C", I decided to give a roof chop a go (Only other I've done was a '26 Delivery!).
I really don't know how this will all turn out in the end but it's gunna be a fun build!
Cab and rear fenders are from the '50 F1, front clip is '37 Ford and Chassis is ummm (Muffled voice!) '95 Chevy(ISUZU?) Blazer 4WD, power will likely be Ford 6 cyl..................................What ya think??

Re: Fordenstein
Cool but answer me this, considering you used the cab to build the race truck, how did you end up with a leftover cab?

Easy as ! the cab on the BadAss '50 is a pre-chopped resin which left me the kit Cab you see on Fordenstein!!
Here's a stock one for comparison,

Re: Fordenstein
Bit more progress.....
Tray from the '50 F1 has been cut up and installed to run on the same angle as the Cab, sort of gives it a wedge look.
Anyone got ideas for paint? I'm think'n weathered and beat up parts chaser!!

Re: Fordenstein
More Progress!!
Body work is mostly done as there's no need for perfection here due to what the final finish will look like which is OLD & CRAPPY!!
Motor is a Resin Ford 6cyl, for argument sake lets call it a 221ci out of an Aussie Falcon! It looks sweet and is hooked up to the Transfer case and both diffs on the doner chassis.
Still lots more scratchbuilding to do yet as I will be making the interior out of bits and pieces, seat are Resin from A.S.S. and the tray floor is balsa.
It's slowly taking shape!

Re: Fordenstein
Body has some paint and the weathering has begun!
Decals on the door are from an original issue AMT '34 Ford Pickup!! they took longer in the water but they still work great !!!!!
Exhaust is from the Revell '29 pickup with slight modification and exits through the door.
Enjoy!!

Looks cool! Do you have a transfer case, or will you scratch build it? I love the 4WD idea.

If you look real close at this pic (It's hard to see) you can see the Blazer transfer case hooked to the 3 speed manual from the Ford motor!!

Re: Fordenstein
Looking good Paul. Have you thought of tilting the motor like Ford did with the 4*4 XY ute, helped with clearance of the front diff pumpkin & sump.

Re: Fordenstein
More Progress!
Wheels are painted ,Whitewall inserts are just Tamiya white Primer and rims a Rattle Flat Black! I also machine some bullet center caps and will detail the wheels a little more B4 it's complete. Body has recieved some more weathering,
I'd better get this one done as Boris wants a ride real bad!!!
