'66 Mustang

I started out with the AMT '66 kit which was OK body wise but the chassis was poorly detailed to say the least, particularly as this was to be a club racer. It had the moulded in exhaust & no inner guards etc...
Found the AMT Mercury Cougar in my stash & it had a better detailed floor pan & other bits & it fitted pretty well to the Mustang body/interior bucket so I'm away
As you can see its a pretty viscious drop & will sport  a biggish set of flared guards - colour is still coming.

Most of the bodywork done including the guards & almost ready for paint,. I just have to finish the motor now to work out where the trumpets will poke through the bonnet & cut an apprpriate hole.
Probably yellow & black or white & yellow or green & gold or .......

What about doing it in the Gulf colours, pale blue with orange strip down the middle of it.

So far Brian, she's looking mean and awseome!.. The colour
suits it well. Impressive job on the custom work.
