Dodge van

I revived this build for " gas #14 " but I got too ambitious with the paint job. In short , white base with nail polish pearl gold panels & Tamiya gold roof. The problem was the nailpolish gold had no guts , needed heaps of coats to cover, that caused ridges at the masking requiring heaps of clear to bury it, yadda-yadda , and also got dust under the clear ! So I put it away again. I've become inspired to finish it and leave the paint as it is.

That is soooo awesome looking mate, glad you pulled it out again, love to see it finished.

I'll keep an eye on this one...Interesting!

In your defence Fred, Rob does call Scummy Dad so maybe you can put it down to the family resemblance?

I've got the dash detail painted and fitted. The interior is flocked and painted in 70's era burnt orange and lets not forget the wood grain on the dash. I hope to unite this with the body soooon !
