Oh yeah man, I've got half of this kit ... got the remains at a swap meet that had been poached for a slot car body.
Any hints on colour yet mate or is that on the down low until the big reveal?

No down low on color yet mate, no clue more sums it up. Orange is a maybe, so was black, but i've done 4 black based cars and a gun metal grey this year already, so i need to brighten up the album a bit. The week-end should give me more of an idea though.

Re: 67 Charger 426 HEMI Painted!!
OK guys, i have played with the cross member to get it lower, i raised the K-frame up inside the chassis rails ,
where it usually sits under them.
Separated the springs from the diff, and will some lowering blocks too.
And built the Hemi, with an addition of 2 x pro stock dominator carby's.
Also decided on color, a very bright orange, which will 2 tone with black.

Re: 67 Charger 426 HEMI Painted!!
Cheers guys, Jerry , all I did was paint the whole thing orange, then mask off the lower half, to stay orange, and the roof, I cut some pieces of tape freehand with the scalpel, and layed them down where I wanted it to stay orange, very easy, just a little imagination is about all I takes. I made the pieces smaller and thinner towards the rear to get some sort of thinning out , blowing backwards type of effect with them.

Amazing work Deecee, As you now know, I'm dabbling into airbrushing & hopeDeeCee wrote:Cheers guys, Jerry , all I did was paint the whole thing orange, then mask off the lower half, to stay orange, and the roof, I cut some pieces of tape freehand with the scalpel, and layed them down where I wanted it to stay orange, very easy, just a little imagination is about all I takes. to use some ideas & suggestions to turn out a model with some nice custom
airbrush work. From the brilliant work I've seen so far, not only yours "DC", but
from a few other builders, that extra touch of custom paint can transform a nice
but relatively "ordinary" looking model, into a true "head turning show piece".
Thank you for sharing your craft ideas & skills mate.
