Re: 1960 Edsel Starcruiser
Nice!!! The -60 Edsel actually DID share the roofline with the Starliner:

Looking forward to see more of your build!

Love how you did the flame work..
Air brushed over a stencil?...

Re: 1960 Edsel Starcruiser
Yup the '60 Edsel was built on the same platform and sub body as the Starliner.
However, I like what you've done so far using the '58 centre grille.

Re: 1960 Edsel Starcruiser
Thanks folks.
I should have realised Ford would use the Starliner shell. Didn't bother to check other than looking at the grille design.
The flames are my first try with Lazy Modeller flame masks. They worked great. So easy even Fred can use them...
I Airbrushed and then 2 pack cleared over the top.
The wheels and tyres are not from Pegasus. Are they not from the Starliner kit? I can't remember as I started this so long ago. First thing I did was sort out wheels and tyres and paint the white lines.

Ya going great guns on this one mate!... Keep it on the
"assembly line" , finish her off , and show us the completed
car.
Going to look a 'pearler" by the look of her when done!.

Re: 1960 Edsel Starcruiser
"Glass" is installed and I discovered a massive gap between the interior and the body along the tops of the doors which i've had to shim. Now touching up the interior paint and then it'll be time to glue the body to the rest. That's going to be fraught as there is a slight twist in the chassis.
