Volvo FH16 8x4

Here I try to build an australian  spec Volvo FH16 8x4 prime mover. The chassis and the cab are from A&N Model Trucks. The brown tank is from Modellers Resource

Will be watching this one.

Bearycrafty has 1 of these cabs on order from A&N as well. We were going to order more from him but never received a reply to our emails. Is this the 8 x 4 construction chassis? This looks really good. It's a pity the chassis doesn't come with load sharing suspension. Does the Italeri engine fit under the cab with the turbo etc on or does it foul on the right hand drive cab floor?

Normally Andrej answers on emails. just go to his shop and raise an order at least then he emails you.
Yes it is the 8x4 construction chassis. I had moved the second axle forward to get the correct twin steer axle WB. I think that you could use on of the axle set ups that KFS has.
Currently the engine is just a mockup and it fits under the cab. I'm not so happy with the Italeri engine because it is a bit aged. The oil pan is wrong. There is from P&B Models a D15, but I didn't found it because it seems that it is out of production.

We got the email saying the parcel had been sent with a tracking number etc but nothing else - spam folder included. Too many jobs at home and not enough brownie points. Went from a couple of small ideas to a full bathroom reno and reworking of the front yard with new paths, garden beds, gates etc etc etc and all before Christmas please.
