R MACK AUSTRALIAN ARMY MC3 HRV
This Project Has been going on and off now for 2 years. I got an old AMT R Mack kit and decided to build an Australian army heavy recovery vehicle know as a Mack HRV. all fun and games intill i realised the massive ammout of work to recreate a truck thats far from a showroom model as i soon discovered.
After allot of research I realised the only thing i could use from the original kit is the rear axles, cab and chassis as the australian defence force custom made pretty much everything else.
Some different stages of cad work drawn using allot of reference pics taken on various open days and photos provided by ex and current military personnel who drive them
Collection of my 3d printed parts that i got a mate to cast in resin for me so we can make a conversion kit after its all done.
The resin cab is by american industrial truck models saved me a bit of time with making the bonnet fitting the cab just had to cut the roof of to add my roof and visor.
link to some more pics on my facebook page they will be updated more frequently

Very impressive mate. I think this truck has caught a few people out before who had plans to convert DM 800 kits. I'll put my hand up for a couple of conversion kits if you get around to it!
