1/24 Lamborghini Countach LP400 from Aoshima

The upgrade kit included the spark plug leads ,carby linkages and photo etched vents . I made the fuel lines from 0.3mm rod and 1mm tube then painted them and used Bare Metal Foil in thin strips for the clamps on them . A bit of dry brushing and it came out good .

I still have to wet sand the body and put a couple of coats of purple on it and try the 2K clear gloss .

 Real nice workmanship so far... look forward to the finished build.

Don't know how I missed this one. Very nice work. I do like the earlier super car's, if that's what you call them.

Some more pics of the under chassis , interior and the engine . I made the fuel lines from 0.3mm wire inserted into 0.5mm tube ( for the hoses ) and the clamps are just chrome BMF .

I'm not a huge fan of " Supercars " either but from doing this build ( for a friend ) and doing the research behind the LP400 I'm starting to like the shape way more than the latter versions ( LP5000 etc ) .
