Datsun Bluebird.
Currently working on this little 1960 Datsun Bluebird from Arii in 1/32. When it is finished I am going to place it in a heavy bush setting. These little 1/32 Arii kits are a little rough but they are also very cheap. They have an amazing range of very interesting 1950's and 1960's Japanese vehicles.

I like the models in their "owners club "range ,I just wish they were 1/24 scale.Your build is looking good, I just might be converted.

Yes it is a shame that they do not make these in 1/24. There are some really fantastic 50s and 60s Japanese vehicles here. I brought a pile of them on ebay a few years ago from a Japanese model seller. I think they worked out at about $10 each. They are a bit rough in places but for $10. you cant really complain.
Here are some others I have in my stash.

Been away on my motorcycle and playing with some new airbrushes that recently arrived. Not done much to it lately but will post some progress shots soon.

Re: Datsun Bluebird.
There's a Japanese guy on FB who's been working his way through this whole series of kits during 2020. They look fantastic; most of them you couldn't tell the scale, or that they were cheap kits - well, not when he's through with them.
Showing my age here - I remember a family reunion in the early sixties when two groups of rellies turned up in the driveway with these. One was a two-door wagon, and it had ye olde beam axle front end!!

Yep, I remember a neighbour down the street where I grew up had one of these as a sedan with ute back !! I think it came that way from Datsun.
