Early 'teens Toyota Crown

Someone has to make 'em!
Aoshima's kit of the 2012-18 Crown Royal Saloon.
One look at the grille on this beast and I had to build it!
Just because it's a kit of the base car doesn't mean I have to build it standard.
It has the usual Aoshima VIP-car chassis with suspension adjustable for height and camber.
A wheel swap is easy.
An interesting colour scheme is a must!

The Jag's been sitting at the back of the bench since about April. The woodgrain decals for the interior were toast so I had to handpaint the wood. Not such a great problem, I've done that before, bit it was a disappointment. Then I was facing the need to chrome around the front and rear windows - the moulding is in scale and almost disappeared under my paint - and I got distracted with something easier. It WILL get finished, just not this year!
And the Toyota's going VIP style with a wheel swap - when I buy them!
