Candy Red Chopper
I started this one with the Bone Daddy RM Chopper. Bit of a lazy, quick build. Changed the front end to a Springer, deleted headlight (looked crap) and front guard. Bars are also from the Springer. Paint is Candy Apple Red over Saffron Pearl.

I got a 100mm tin of Debeer's acrylic base mixed with the Candy red, the red is like a dye, some people put it clear but these guys said the best way was put it in a base medium, have you seen the Tamiya flat base, milky looking stuff, that's what this medium looks like till the Candy goes in it. 100mm cost me $15. I got it from The Paint Depot on the Gold Coast. He showed me the colour charts for motorbikes, I nearly had an accident in my pants, some of the most amazing colours, gotta save some coin and go play. Go check a good paint shop, tell em what you want it for and they should be ablr to blow you away, I would suggest House of Colours paint but it is expensive.
Hope this helps.

Re: Candy Red Chopper
Apart from the engine (insert usual disparaging comment about boat anchors, pumps, museum pieces etc) that's wicked.
Front end off of a Hardly Springer kit?
