That is beautiful, nice to see a sled other than a Mercury, 6 banger is a nice touch as well, paint is awesome. Is that alclad on the steering wheel?

The pin stripes are decals from the old Monogram '56 Chevy Bel Air kit.
Paint is PowerPlus rattle cans - Ice blue and Cyan blue with several coats of PowerPlus clear on top.
The steering wheel is from the '65 Chevelle station wagon kit - it was one I had laying around and had the look I was after.

No, but you do need a shitload of patience. I just started on an AMT '49 Ford re-pop and not a single piece fits together without a lot of heavy massaging. Even the bonnet is about a scale inch too long. It's enough to make me build Tamiya Ferraris the rest of my life. Geez I wish Tamiya made hot rod and custom models...
