56 custom
Finished this late last year, only just took pics of it the other night. It's been lowered and painted mazda phantom blue and tamiya silver and clear pearl. Bit of quik and simple build to try and get some motivation.

Re: 56 custom
That's a sweet ride Rocket - everything about it looks just about right to me. Maybe just a bit of black wash on the grill would finish her off nicely.
How'd you do the white walls?
Did you have dramas with the door alignment? I've got one of these started as well but was put off by the fit of the doors. I'm concerned that they won't shut properly after I paint them. Thinking about gluing them shut as the interior is not that flash anyways.

Re: 56 custom
for a quick build I must say that you did on hell of a job building it. It looks absolutely sharpe. The total look is right for the style of car.

Cool.
I've got one of these i'm not sure what to do with.
Thinking about 80's style Street Machine with body colour bumpers & grille but I can't decide whether to shave the trim or not.

Bryce, if you talk to anyone who has built a 1/1 scale 'mid fifties Ford they will all confirm the accuracy of the kit, the doors are a crap fit on the real cars!

Re: 56 custom
the head lights are like that in the kit. the only mods on this are the lowered ride hight and I removed the quarter glass on the doors.
