Lookin good man.

to my knowledge there were two cars, black and a blue.
There were indeed two cars, however the black car, named 'Swindler A' was rebuilt and painted blue.

The second car was also blue, built for match racing and was named 'Swindler B' it was very close to the same as the second version of 'Swindler A'

The first incarnation (black car) evolved from an Oldsmobile powered street car into the full blown blue race car.

Here's what it looks like today.

Stone, Woods and Cook 41 Willys... all finished now SwindlerA

One of the key elements of this car that most modlers seem to overlook is that the lower body was severely trimmed away to help reduce weight and keep the car competitive on the strip. Notice also the grille opening is a different shape to the original Willys opening.
