But think of how fast you would get there, plus all the fun of flying without leaving the ground

Re: '65 Grocery Getter
Very nice job on (what was for me) a disappointing kit.
Glad you removed the huge lumps from the inside of the radiator support panel that the screws went into back when it was a promo.
Any chassis shots or is that still OOB and therefore never to be seen?

Man I had to get rid of those screw post, I hate those things, I don't know why they had to put them on the rad support, as for the frame It's all stock, its all molded one piece with the rear end and, I personally think it's ugly, I personally hate that too, I like multi part frames, I didn't even dremel the stock exhaust, off the thing, painted satin black and said to heck with it.....

Re: '65 Grocery Getter
Screw posts! I knew that's what they're called but must have been having a senior moment.
When I built this I bought up every cheap late 60's chevy I could find in a search for a decent chassis to put under it. Trouble was if they had a decent chassis then the rest of the kit was too good not to build.
IIRC this one has another 2 of my pet hates. Axle through the engine and chrome headlight lenses.
