69 Dodge Dart LO-23

Here is a close replica of a Dodge Dart LO-23 that I made from a Mr. Norms Dart kit. I detailed the interior, chassis, engine bay, and cut the rear wheel wells to fit the slicks.

In 1968, Dodge released one of the most feared drag cars ever, the 1968 Hurst Hemi Dart. Dodge would ship Dart body shells to Hurst and they would install a ram-inducted 426 Hemi V8 under the hood. Using fiberglass fenders and hood, belt straps for window cranks, and A100 seats for decreased weight,
These A-bodies were one of the fastest production cars of all time, running the quarter in 10.5 seconds at 129 mph. None of these Darts can be considered truly "numbers matching" because they were shipped without paint, engine, tranny and many other parts, and were then converted by Hurst.
