Thanks guys.

Paint is Testors Red Pearl (one of the boyd colours IIRC) over a Ford gold.
If you look closely you can see the overspray where I had to go back over the door gap due to the pearl pulling back from the edges. I'll give it a week or 2 and then hit it with the Scratch X which should buff it out (fingers crossed).

Why not keep going with the overspray around the egdes and do a 70s panel fade job? Would suit the style I reckon. my2cents

By the way - are you gonna lower that thing or is it a 4x4 tee? Very Happy

I was thinking of doing the panel fade thing, but I want to polish it first anyway - the overspray is worse in the flesh.

Ride height stays as it is. That's the way AMT made the chassis!
