Airbrush help!! Empty Airbrush help!!

Im looking @ buying an airbrush ... but i dont know which type 2 buy ... single or dual action, gravity or siphon fed??? And do i need a small compressor solely for the brush or can i use the big 1 up in the shed? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
