Monster Truck
Can anyone say your F....'N crazy. Haven't seen any monster truck kits for years and i spotted this one awhile ago so here it is in all its glory, All black with hints of red and yellow. No chrome bits at all it all buisness. Have a look.
Look at the size of those tyres.
Thats alot of pieces in there. Someone help me ha ha.. The cage looks very complex and the instructions say its a complex kit.
Hopefully it turns out ok.

Re: Monster Truck
So far the parts fit has been pretty good, as usual there is a fair amount of clean up to do on the roll cage but other wise its great. Might have to get them all if this one turns out ok.

Re: Monster Truck
I'll say it - you're F....'N crazy!
Now that's done I can honestly say you're taking on a mighty task there. I built it years ago when it was first released and its fiddly work but it turns out a treat. It looks best when its sitting on top of a squashed car so maybe a diorama is next on your list?

Re: Monster Truck
Mmmmmmmmmmm. Like it.
I've got one of the AMT USA1 kits in my stash. It's the old style Monster truck before they started using space frames.

I dont think im god enough to create a diorama just yet but it might be in the pipeline on day. Fingers crossed it doesn't end up being a total mess.

Re: Monster Truck
Thanks allan, Cleaned her up last night what a PITA!!!! I also noticed last night that the bugs decided to land on the body while i painted it . And i forgot to glue the rear bumber on before painting, so im thinking i'll make the bumbers silver just to be different.

Re: Monster Truck
Small update with pics in the morning. Got a few more decals on it tonight and got everything painted except for the cage which will be done tomorrow so i can assemble it on next weekend. Quick note for anyone thinking about building one, the decals are fairly thick which is good for no bleed through but also the soaking time for them is almost nothing.

Re: Monster Truck
Glad to see you got your pic problem sorted. Only thing is they're a liittle small, try resizing them to 800x600wide.
