{BNR} GTR Skyline by vielside
Another tuner on the table........ got this little puppy in the mail the other day, she's Aoshima kit and is also part of a his/hers project
im working on, didnt like the standard bonnet, so i had my first crack at scribe'n it out to fit the Aero hood, not perfect....but not bad either i think

Colour sounds sweet, as for the make/model designation i didn't know either most people only go as far as R32 or whichever one it is. You not tryin to show us up are ya

Lol, its all good boyz, not try'n to show anyone up, just read'n how it is on the box big fella(geez your sensitive one lol),as for the engine itself the block is moulded
into the engine bay but i had a qiuk look and ya seem to get a fair bit of stuff for the engine, its me first aoshima kit so im still play'n with it........

Nice project.
FYI - it's pretty easy to improve the bonnet gaps with some strip styrene, super glue and a file.

How would i get that to work? Theres no room between the hood and the engine bay.....

First you need to file them straight. Then either buy some strip or cut it from a flat sheet. Superglue it to the edge of the bonnet. Then file, test fit, file, test fit, file, test fit, file, test fit, file, test fit, file, test fit, file, test fit, file, test fit until you are happy with gap. Then file a bit more off to allow for paint build up. If that's still not clear I can post up some pics to show you what I mean - lemme know.

Almost finished this one, just a few bits and pieces left and i've gotta shave a bit off the bottom of the dash to make way for the screen as the hood doesnt sit right, also working on a custom front strut brace......
A few first's for me, my first airbrush job and also my first crack at flocking...... will try to have it done by next weekend
