Re: need help
Aren't they all white or silver?
Tamiya did 80 and 100 series cruisers. At least 1 release of the 100 series had a full detail engine.
Good luck in finding one though. I've only ever seen 1 full detail Tamiya cruiser kit and that one wasn't for sale.

Re: need help
The Tamiya kit is a nice kit. ( No its not for sale ) Why cant you cut out the motor and gear box and drop a Chevy like they do in the real thing. If you need a transfer case tell me what side you need the front drive shaft on and what size motor and gear box type I.E manual or auto and I will send you a resin one to suite your set up.

Re: need help
thanks the problem with just droping a motor and box in is i need the chassis to fit as well as it has a fully inclosed bottom to it, thats why i thought of maybe something like and f250 or c1500 kit with a diesel

Re: need help
The F250 and the C1500 are two wheel drive not for the best bet as you would have to shorten it and the rear floor pan would be wrong. The Bronco chassis would be closer but the front diff would have to be changed but its already a coil spring set up were the others are not. Are the Diffs molded in to the Chassis or separate? If they are separate all you have to do is cut out the molded in motor rebuild the chassis detail and drop in the new motor/ gearbox combo If you find a Car / 4X4 diesel let me know have been hunting for one for years The closes one that I can find is the 4 Cylinder out of a Uni Mog... Can you post a picture of the chassis I might be able to help more that way

Re: need help
I bought this kit, I was so upset with it I kept the wheels and chucked the rest out. the proportions are all wrong. I used to have the Tamiya version years ago, kickin myself for not hangin on to it.
