Austin A40

This is another one of my works in progress. Part of the reason the Val ute is on hold. Its a resin body I scored off ebay and the chassis is from the Revell 80's Prostreet Beretta. The injection is from one of the amt/model king altered wheel base cars (63 tempest I think) although I have made the alloy stacks myself (the brass stacks in the third photo were a trial set as at the time I didn't have any aluminium tube). I can't remember where the rims and motor motor came from, they were in my spares box when I started this project.

Thats the Chevy II ratpacker engine by the looks of it ... looking good!

This is about as wild a ride as I've seen anywhere. Lookin' good!

hi mr.mopar, i was planing to buy one of the austins a40's myself.
will wait & see how yours turns out. from what i have seen in the pic's so far,i'd say it should look greate.

Definately a cool little truck. Cant wait to see some colour on this
