1/18 QLD POLICE BA FALCONS

Gday lads

Well this is my first post here,been reading and seeing a lot of top stuff in this forum.. great dioramas,cars and works in progress..

Well im fairly new to this,just getting into it,i recently bought 2 BA Ford Falcon police cars,1 marked and on unmarked with flashing lights, from a modeller that's pretty awsome at what he does.If you watch out on ebay for 1/18 cars you would have seen some of his police car work.
1: unmarked BFA Ford with:
- flashing dash lights (blue/red)
-flashing rear window lights (blue/red)
-flashing grill lights(blue/red)
-single detective/unmarked flashing blue light on passenger side of roof.
-roof mounted video recorder
-dash mounted radar and read out display

2:Current marked BFA Ford with
-Flashing roof lightbar(blue/red)
-flashing grill lights (blue/red)
-flashing alternating headlights
-flashing rear lights
-rear window mounted radar
-dash mounted radar display
-3 arials
-exact decals of current QPS Car

I was looking around for ages for 1/18 scal police figures that resemble aussie uniforms but could find nothing so i decided to make my own.I found several action figurines that had a suitable attire to turn into police,shopped em up,made gun belts,radios,torches etc for em and turned out better than i expected.
well ive made a start to my diorama,ill post pics later of it..... got a board 450mm wide by 900mm long,so far ive painted it black, put down the white road markings ,made a gaurd rail for one side.

What i will do to finish is:-Gaurd rails on both sides
-Street lamps that light up
-Grass path on side with civvies looking on
-Road/speed signs
-scattered debrie

The finished scene will be a civie car smashed up at the front from smashing into gaurd rail durring a police pursuit and gaurd rail all mangled up,with 3 police cars attending the scene with the criminal being led to the back of a cop car to be taken away

I also posted my unfinished diorama in 'dioramas' hopefully get in fully complete and looking as authentic as i can get it by next week.

Well here is my latest car... a VT Commodore,Western Australia Police..... originally it was one of them BIANTE limited editions that came with a non flashing Vector lightbar(which i hate and think they look s__t) and i took it off and wacked on a flashing straight lightbar..will try and put in flashing headlights and rear lights later on sometime
