Harry the Honda - 1985 Honda City
Harry was Mrs z's first new car. After being passed round the rest of the family he finally went to the big wreckers in the sky earlier in the year suffering from terminal door frame rot.
Kit is an Araii 1982 City R updated to 1985 Australian spec (Basically grille, mirrors, wheels - thanks slowly, headrests and leaving out the rear seats) and with added metal foil Honda badges.

Just add a small turbo and these things are rocket ships.

Re: Harry the Honda - 1985 Honda City
Dare I say it's a "cute" little car? Looks like a nice kit to build - kerbside I suspect?

Re: Harry the Honda - 1985 Honda City
Thanks all.
Yeah, kerbside with all the usual fittings for an electric motor.
However, unlike the Doyusha kits they managed to design it with a correct depth interior with the electrical gubbins out of the way.
The 1:1 was fun to drive. The trick was to maintain momentum and only brake if absoutely necessary. And to try and ignore the squeaking speedo.
