Re: Atkinson Twin Steer
Ok guys, been abit distracted over Christmas but I'm back into it now. Not alot of progress but have sourced the correct engine for it and have mounted it in the chassis. Still need to fit the turbo and manifolds, but you get the idea.

Re: Atkinson Twin Steer
Been awhile since I've had a look at the work U've been doing Mr Mopar and I must say it's looking spot on U've done a fine job of the detail the attention is great and the paint work ab/fab. I saw K.I. Transports sleeper cab on of the other day when I was out and about doing a bit of shopping it enters the Expressway in south just near where I live if I see it again and I've got my cell phone camera handy I'll try for a shot of it for ya. Can't wait for the final photos so please bring it on.

Re: Atkinson Twin Steer
Hi all, progress is a bit slow at the moment on this one but haven't forgotten it, just got too much on the go at the moment. Have started to paint the cab (although some paint has come off with the masking tape).

Re: Atkinson Twin Steer
Ok guys, managed to patch the paint, and have decaled and detailed the cab. Still need to foil the grill, headlights and door handles.

Re: Atkinson Twin Steer
Looking great so far ,with the masking tape lifting paint I have found Tamiya low tack masking tape does not do it cost bit more but in the long run its better

Re: Atkinson Twin Steer
By far the best one I have seen built so far, very nice scratchbuilding skills there, look forward to another update
Re: Atkinson Twin Steer
Progress on this is a bit slow at the moment (but I am still working on it), just been focussing on finishing off a couple of other projects. Been doing details on the tray and other places, but thought the cab is coming up a treat with the foil and some of the detail fitted.

Re: Atkinson Twin Steer
Hi all, just thought I would share the latest progress. got the windows in the cab (although they need a clean) and have added most of the detail to the cab. Also, have managed to mount the cab to the chassis properly now. Still need to make the gantry to mount the exhaust, and add more detail to the chassis, but it is starting to come up real nice

Re: Atkinson Twin Steer
Hi all, it's been a while but am working on this one again. Would like to finish it this year. Have got the tray and tailgate hinged, and have finished the chassis to a point where I am starting to get some colour on it.

Re: Atkinson Twin Steer
Hey Mr Mopar, looks FANTASTIC! Was just going thru your build & noticed you wanted to know who makes these resin cabs. The guys name is Charlie Eden & he trades under the name 'The Backyard Shed''; he's known as auskid on ebay. He has quite a few conversion cabs available. Hope this info helps for any future projects. Cheers, Gary.
