Finished! '36 Ford Yoot.
The resin body was a bitch to work with as the thickness varies and it's nowhere near the same from one side to the other. The interior tub just wouldn't fit so I ended up cutting it into sections and gluing them to the inside of the body panels. Then I had to section the seat because it still was too wide to fit inside the body.
All that aside, I pretty happy with the way it turned out, but I think in future I may just stick with using styrene kit bodies and steer clear of swap meet specials.

Very nice Carps.
If you didn't mention how hard is was to fit, I never would've known.
Well done.

Re: Finished! '36 Ford Yoot.
Thanx guys, encouragement is always good.
The trailer I used is from the old Monogram Sprint Car kit, which has some neat Halibrand wheels and WWW tyres, injected Chevy engine, quick-change, etc. if you don't want to build the race car.
On the other hand, with the roll cage removed, different wheels and tyres (Orange Crate units are perfect), the racer builds into a neat older style sprinter or oval track car.
The AMT kit shown is a reissue. It was also done as a three in one with the pick-up and an old timey sprint-car as the Grant King Special kit by AMT.
And I have another couple of single axle trailers somewhere, just couldn't find the kits they are in tonight.

Great build Carps, really looks the goods with the trailer and coupe. The trailer also came with a Chevy van kit that was white on the box.
