Wagon ho!
60 Plymouth Wagon by Johan.
Scored this on Evilbay a few years ago and well they are for building not saving so here it is!
Was a fun build!
It's great putting together these old kits and now I'm hooked on Johan's!

A great build mate! It's a shame Johan went away - they really did some great kits. Wonder what happened to their dies and pattern moulds?

Re: Wagon ho!
I believe the JoHan tooling went to AMT and we will be seeing some reissues of old JoHan kits from the new AMT company.
They did some great kits of the more obscure brands & models, like Ramblers and Paul's MOPAR Wagon.
On the topic of paint, I picked up a couple of cans of something new from the local hobby dudes yesterday.
Testors One Coat Lacquer!
They only had 2 cans so I grabbed em both coz I liked the colours. Tested the green on a '34 Fender for my garage dio.
A coat of grey primer then sprayed per instructions from 10 to 12 inches. Went on wet and flowed out perfectly with great gloss and no need for rubbing out or buffing, just wax it and it's done. As expected from Lacquer it dries real quick and per the name I only sprayed one coat.
I'll be back there to let them know I like it and see what other colours they can get.

Carps your the Man! now tell who has it and when are they getting more as I've been waiting for this to hit our shores for a while, Guys in the states rave about it and I want some!!! tj the paint on this is rattle can from supercheap same with the clear then simply hit with a polishing kit 3600,4000,6000,8000 & 12000 grit then hit with wax it turns any average paint job into a stunner! Let me know if ya want one as we are restocking them soon!

Re: Wagon ho!
Cool - personally I preferred the wide whites, but would still like to know how you do them.
