Kenworth K104 Flat top
Hi all, recently scored a cab for this one so I have started to put together the chassis and work out what I need to modify. Donor was the Revell K100 Aerodyne. The intention is to make it look like one of the local Booth Transport Kenworths like this.
Stall early days at the moment but you get the idea

Re: Kenworth K104 Flat top
Is that one of Nogel Lowe's cabs? I seem to remember hearing he had one coming out. Been thinking about getting one myself and doing a Collins truck like the one in the background of the 2nd picture.
Nice trucks to drive aswell, good fun with 550hp and no trailer.

Re: Kenworth K104 Flat top
Judging by the first 2 photos U live close to where I live Mr Mopar, the Kenny looks good though U know that Nigel is no longer in Tassy he's now based in Victoria, I spoke to Mrs. Nigel on the phone late last year and they moved because not only was postage killing their porfit but Tassy wasn't a good base for their growing cottage industry whcih is getting better. Love the work U've done so far and we must catch up somewhere along the line.

Yep its a CJ cab, but there will be lots of auslowe accesories such as the mudguards, square tanks and bullbar.
Dingo, the photos are off the web, but I rekon I live less than 5 min from your place, and agree we should catch up sometime.

Re: Kenworth K104 Flat top
If I ever get anymore truck projects on the go I wouldn't mind a bit of an SA truck modeller catchup myself. Wouldn't mind some more minds to get some ideas going.
There's another modeller from the darkside of railways near MrMopar who I wouldn't mind catching up with aswell.
Also got a fair bit of reference material on these trucks including original KW stuff and an article on Booth's I reckon. You know who to call if you get stuck MrMopar, I should have something to help.

This should look great! Are you putting on the party hat? I've got the auslowe aero 104 cab, which I've started on by cutting & shutting to make it into a big cab
