L700 Twin boom Tow Truck
Sorry that I have not post any pictures but I have had both of my computers mother board blow up in the hudimity still waiting on the new ones to get here.I'm on a building spree at the moment because to paint at this
time off year is like the winter down south Weather, Weather, Weather but it does have it good side it is when I get most of my big scratch and modified project's
done. The truck is going to show a fare bit of wear in the cab and on the out side but wont be a wreck, just show years of hard work. Worn seats & floor mat's, dents in the fuel tanks & cab, the home made bumper bar and the Engine transplant that would not get a R.T.A pass.
The motor is a small 6cly diesel out of a John Deere tractor that I scored going to detail it like a mid size UD Diesel motor non turbo from the 80's all noise no go..
The seat on the right left hand side is only going to be a frame, springs, and a little bit of padding. The holes in the grill have been cut out as well as in the cab it now has photo etch mesh in different stages of decay. The mud flaps are Tamiya masking tape
The pulleys and the winch are militry bits and the rope (cable) came out of the parts box every thing else is Evergreen tube, sheet rod and masking tape. Still need's amber lights and spot lights to be mounted on the boom
Enjoy

Re: L700 Twin boom Tow Truck
Am thinking about sky blue / white or red / white at this stage want to go with a sort off period look. But I want to stay away from green on this one. Oxide red and white is in front at this stage
