66 GT350-H Mustang
Here is my current build. A 66 GT350-H Mustang. I have already made a few changes. I am putting larger wheels on so now I have mini tubbed the rear wheel wells. Haven't decided on what engine to use. The mock up is a windsor out of a similar kit that I built yonks ago.
Chassis on left is original. Right shows mods to wheel well and chassis rails.
Hinged bonnet. Sorry DV8V8, just had to do it again.

Yeh, rent-a-racer!!!!
No it wont be painted the Hertz rental colours. Still deciding on colour.
Still to tidy the tubs up and make the vertical area of the tubs.

Re: 66 GT350-H Mustang
After a bit of a break I am getting back into this one. Wheels will be Pegasus Alto's. Chassis is in primer. Diff is a modified 67 Mustang unit to fit the tubbed rear end. Front shock towers have been modified to suit the new engine.

Re: 66 GT350-H Mustang
Real nice piece of work on the rear tub mods, would look awsome if those wheels sat up inside them a bit more though mate, just my own opinion, good job on the hinge too.

Re: 66 GT350-H Mustang
Yeh the back could come down a bit more. At the same time the body is not sitting down where it should either. Just an impression at this stage. The front is pretty much where I want it though. Looks like rain today here, might get some modelling done.

Not the wheels I would have chose, but they actually quite neat on it. Nice fabrication work on the tubs.

Re: 66 GT350-H Mustang
Lookin' sweet so far Dave, You can't go wrong with good inspiration like that.
What's with all of these Mustangs around here lately? It's making me think about dumping the Falcon and finishing one of the 10 mustangs that I have started.

Re: 66 GT350-H Mustang
Finally got some paint on this the other day. Left it sit for a couple of days to gas out and here it is. Many coats of Testors bright yellow and no clear at this stage. May not even bother with a clear coat.
