"Odd Ball Racing" - part B Empty "Odd Ball Racing" - part B

Post by Paul Fri 02 Apr 2010, 4:54 pm

I've been wanting to build a weathered '50 for a while, and since I recently got 2 Snapfast '50 kits I decided to give it a shot!!! I'm also using a Regular AMT full detail kit for parts.

Here's my inspiration,

Here's where mines at..............

...I will have a crack at hand painting some signage on the doors, "Odd Ball Racing" - part B 541627

Every old work horse needs a towbar, so here's one I scratchbuilt out of styrene and machined up a tow ball.

Y'know Paul if you drill some lightening holes in that rear bar you'll prolly gain at least 2 inches of ground clearance.  :DTop job, it's looking great.

Nice work so far Paul - but that towball needs rusting too, seeing as how it hasn't towed anything for years? Very Happy
