1965 shelby cobra 427 s/c
heres another one now i saw a diecast version of this and i bought it thinking i could pull it apart and use some of the bits off it like the deep dish wheels and chrome front bar and xhaust but there was a slight problem there both 1/24 scale but the diecast is at least 2 inches longer and 1 inch wider then the plastic kit so that kinda screwed my plans up so i thought well ill leave the diecast the way it is and build the revell one as is so now i have 2 shelby cobras in my display cabinet i love these i had the pleasure of driving a replica in brisbane with a 427 twin turbo engine and apart from the noise of being a open top and the sheer scariness of it side stepping every time i took off from the lights i loved it but unfort the fiance wouldnt let me have one (no where for the kids or shopping) these pics are done during and after the build i do still have the white stripe to put on the plastic kit it is the same tamiya blue i used on my fairlane but i did this cobra first
and these are the diecast one i bought
these deep dish wheels jesus theres about 1 inch of rim wall before the inner rim
