'25 model T Coupe
A little over a week ago I had minor knee surgery. Stuck in bed watching movies with my leg elevated, I decided to have a look at this kit. Three days later, it's finished! This is the quickest straight out of the box build I've done, nothing flash just a simple little hot rod.
Colours are Tamiya Olive Drab and Dull Red.
Thanks for looking!

Geez mate, I'd still be trying to decide on wheels and paint after three days, considering you only just got the bloody thing as well that's pretty good going. Nice job too mate.

Re: '25 model T Coupe
Fella's!
She's a good missus but no way would she let me paint in bed, all the plastic shavings in bed was bad enough! She helped me outside for all the spray painting and made sure everything was in arms reach, I can see I'll owe her big time when I'm on my feet again.
I did only get the kit on Tuesday and had it finished Friday night but I already had a plan of attack before it arrivred. Plus no added detail or shiney finish made it a quick build.
This was the most organised build I've done.
Day 1
Day 2
& day 3 finished.
This is a cool kit with heaps of options, definitely worth a look.
Although it was advertised that it came in a tin, but all I got was just a plain old ordinary cardboard box.

I like this. Despite the lack of loud paint
AMT Double T isn't it?
Did the blower come with it?
If you paid for the "collectors" release in the tin and got one in a box then you should enquire about that...
Hows your knee now? Coming along?

I'm pretty certain this only came in a box Zen, only the Fiat kit came in a tin - 99.9% sure of it as the '25 is about $45 and the Fiat $80

No idea if it's supposed to come in a tin or not, just it was advertised that it came in a "Commemorative" tin for $21.50.
I just had a look on the Model Express site and this kit is no longer available so I can't quote the ad. Must of got the last one.
Still a cool kit, the Latham blower and side draft carbs come in the kit, so do the rear slicks with the lettering already on them. The list goes on....
Cheers!

Re: '25 model T Coupe
Hmmm. I could of sworn the initial re-release of the double T came in a tin. I have been wrong once before though.
$21:50 is pretty good though.
