Pics Ballarat NNL 2010
What a top day. Perfect weather, nice venue, friendly hosts (thanks Allan and Tim and gang), and well deserved awards to Paul, Bryce, and Carps. Special thanks to Zenrat who gave me a lift and had his ear bent the whole way there and back. Look for a pictorial report in a future edition of ModelArt Australia magazine.
So to the pics:
Our own Aussie "Stig" enjoying a pint.
Bryce and Paul hamming it up at the local.
Mick Hunt with admirers of his amazing Enterprise carrier ship.
Tim and Allan doing their thing.
Thanks guys!

Re: Pics Ballarat NNL 2010
Thanks Terry for your brief report and sharing some photos. Once again, a successful day, with top quality models being displayed. Thanks to all the guys and gals who made the trip from Adelaide and Melb, and everywhere in between. It was good to catch up with you all again (albeit briefly). Without the support from you all, the show would not be the success that it is. Keep an eye out for the report in Model Art. We'll catch you Melb guys around the traps, and hope to see all of you out of towners here again next year. Thanks again for another great day!
Cheers, Tim

Re: Pics Ballarat NNL 2010
Good to see everyone again.
My pics are still on my camera and will need "adjusting" before I post them so don't hold your collective breath.
I spent too much money, had to smuggle 2 kits in past Mrs eagle eyes, completely failed to explain to her satisfaction why a double dragster kit in a tin cost $79 (the reasoning "but when i've built them you get this lovely tin to put biscuits in" was rejected out of hand), nearly got collected a couple of times by morons who shouldn't be driving, got comprehensively blocked from overtaking by another moron in a 4wd, loaded more saturated fats into my arteries, learnt a lot more about both Carps & Tezza (you should both write books), stitched Bryce up in the silent auction, relented when I realised how much he wanted the kit, regreted relenting when I saw how good the kit was, managed to not bring kits for a couple of categories I could have entered and didn't win a thing.
In other words a most enjoyable day out.
Next years theme is Good Guys/Bad guys. I have a plan. And no, it's not a Gasserised electrical goods delivery van...

Re: Pics Ballarat NNL 2010
Great show guy's, congrats to all the winners. I only had 20 minutes (quick stop en-route elsewhere with the family - it's only a small detour honey...Ow) so i didn't get the chance to shoot the breeze with many of you.
But I just need to say thanks Paul,Your antics photgraphing Jackson kept my wife amused to no end while I looked around. She's the sort who will take a teddy bear or such on holidays with us and get pic's of him everywhere so she appreciated the idea.

Looks like a great day. I love the photo of you guys having lunch. Check out old mate in the background talking on the Wiggles phone! And the chick who's either adjusting her glasses or trying to read minds!
