1940 FORD
Hey Guys I Just finished rebuilding my first model! Here are some pics.
What could I do on a rainy Day with 3 Hours Before Footy? i had a few spare hours up my sleeve and i decided to rebuild my 40 Ford. This was the first model i had built at least 3 years ago and needed a freshen up. I put in a new nailhead, blower painted the body and wheels, new headlights and lowered it a fair bit, which i think needed a fair lowering to meet good proportions.

Re: 1940 FORD
Cool. I like both but prefer the yellow one...probably because it has windows!
Can you make your pics a bit bigger - hard to see anything at that size.

Re: 1940 FORD
Both colours look nice, but the yellow one does has a special appeal about it. Nice background you have for the yellow version. What a classic shape this car has. I agree with Bryce - larger pics please.

Re: 1940 FORD
thanks guys!
The yellow was a bit worn over the years being in boxes and rubbing against bookshelves and what have you, so there where a few chips and the first attempt chrome foiling was a bit ordinary. I mainly just want to freshen it up a bit also me and my brother are building a 1:1 scale 1929 Roadster Pickup with a flathead and it is going to have the silver and black paint scheme. so it was mainly a test... That I think turned out pretty Kool!
THANKS michael

Re: 1940 FORD
Nice looking rebuild. Would be good to see larger pics so that we can get the full impact of the improved paint etc. Well done.
