I got a few die casts too.
It was matchbox that started my model car collection when I was but three years old and around the time Moko of Lesney produced their first Matchbox Toy.
Of course like the plastic, the die cats are very much all Hot Rods or Kustoms, like this lot in 1/43 scale.....
I managed to avoid the big 1/18 scale until somebody produced a bloody hot rod, so now I've got way too much space taken up by the big ones. Here's a couple of my favourites, but moreso is the image behind them. An original Tom Medley drawing/cartoon signed by all the people who were at both the first ever Bonneville Speed Week and the 50th anniversary event. Just above the Peirson Bros coupe near the top of the frame you'll see the brother's signatures.

That's a good collection you've got, and the drawing is a piece of history - something to be proud of. Keep on collecting Carps. There's room in this hobby for both plastic and metal.

Yup, it's just a shame I don't have more room to display em all.

You only need one room to sleep in, one room to eat in, and one room to wash and s**t in. The rest can be filled with display cases.
