JoHan Boss Hoss Mustang - 30 year old build!

Howdy, here's one I built with my Dad about 30 years ago! Amazingly, it's still in remarkable nick for its age. Dad sprayed the body with, if I recall correctly, Testors enamel in the old white can. I think the rest was Testors bottle enamels. It's got mold lines, ejector pin marks & glue all over it, but it's still one of my favorite models. I think the rear window is missing from over exuberant glue application! Gotta love the lairy paintjob I did on the engine.... a yellow blower manifold, indeed....
Anyhoo, enjoy & I'd like to see any "kid builds" that you guys may have kicking around still.

I do remember you telling me about this one day and I never got to see it. Cant believe how good it has withstood the test of time mate!
You might have to build one now with the skills and knowledge you have acquired over the years and display the two together?

Looks good to me! All mine from that era have been trashed by my own children...

Beautiful old model - Johan really made some great kits and this is one of them. Still looks good mate.

Chris, like the old girl, so does my son. He say's it's cooooool! As for old kid, build up's I built plane's . Then had great pleasure of sticking them to skyrocket's and penny bunger's. You get the picture. Early car build's started when I was a teen. Still got a couple of them, a little sad to look at though. cheer's John.

All my youthful builds got recycled for parts for later builds. I thought I had saved a couple but they fell victim to my mother about 15 years ago.
