`Lil Stovebolt
Hey guys, this is what`s on my bench at the moment, bought off evil bay with a heap of parts missing so thought i`d build it as an old style gasser with stovebolt 6, so far i have sourced the suspension from my parts box, started building interior from a couple of jack daniels coasters (no styrene left ) still to do dash and gonna make it right hand drive, colour will be black primer, think a couple of mates going drag racing with limited budget with an ol chevy scored from the old digger next door, anyway here`s where i`m at at the moment
This is a very early mock up, suggestions welcome, Cheers Wayne

Lookin good.
May I suggest aluminium finish for interior?
Maybe paint the floor body colour then age with a little dirt, rust plus wear N Tear.

Thanks Carps, yeah interior will be aluminium, the interior (what there was of it ) was painted black already, along with a few other parts, back to Canberra in morning for work, so this will have to wait till next weekend now, cheers

Re: `Lil Stovebolt
Got a heap more of this sorted( well almost ) This build has turned into a bit of an epic, interior is almost there after a lot of trial and error
made up templates for the door trims which will have handles added later
made up dash and sorted gauges from an old rod dash from my parts box
test fitted trims and dash
Then added the interior for fit, roll bar is from kit as is the shifter, the seat is from my parts box as is the wheel
Then fitted it all to body, fits pretty good but needs a bit more triming up, the dash will have to come up to meet the windscreen and a bit of other trimming to, but pretty happy with the fit so far, hope to have it painted and assembled over the weekend then on to chassis and suspension, this is the most scratch building i`ve done to date so suggestions and ideas more than welcome, cheers Wayne

Re: `Lil Stovebolt
That's definitely the hard way to put an interior together.
Good work.
Just so you know. Not sure about Aussie Gas Class rules but the NHRA required a gasser to have 2 upholstered seats.
