Fuel magazine is holding an official launch party next Sunday at the Rancho Hot Rod shop in Collingwood (Melbourne). Here's their promo blurb:

Next Sunday we are having our first ever launch party for the magazine. Issue 05 is just around the corner, so we thought why not have a bit of a bash to celebrate the occasion. It will be held at the Rancho Deluxe hot rod shop in Collingwood, and you're all invited to come down and check out the cool cars and bikes that are attending. We have most of the machines and people from issue 05 coming down and more, including The Vultures C.C, The Kardinals C.C, Carl Cerra's insane custom Harley, the two very talented artists featured, Marc Bank's show stopping Porsche 356 Outlaw, the 'Fuel Girls', and of course the lovely Miss Diamond, our issue 05 cover model. All this, some good music, some tasty snags and cool conversation so pop down and say hi. What else could you possibly be planning for your Sunday afternoon?

Could be an interesting outing for free? Fuel has a website at http://www.fuelzine.com/

Hmmmm - lots of inspiration in those mags. Thanks for posting Terry.

How come we've never heard about this mag before I wonder?

It's a labour of love mag Bryce, started by a couple of hot rodders living somewhere down this way. The first four mags were small square format, but the new issue (5) has returned to a more normal magazine size, hence the new launch. It's a fascinating mag full of unusual Australian rod and custom stories and art, plus memorabilia, etc. Certainly different from the mainstream stuff. Unfortunately distribution is somewhat limited - I just buy mine online.
